Looking for a security minded Senior Technical Operations Engineer. You will be a key contributor in building and maintaining our expanding SaaS infrastructure and will be accountable for tactical execution in a high-availability operations environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure 99.9%+ uptime of production infrastructure
Manage infrastructure monitoring services to guarantee successful alerting and trending reports
Work with Engineering and QA teams to collaboratively deliver application deployments
Implement automation scripts and processes to streamline operations tasks and management
Maintain and implement operations security at all levels of the infrastructure
Administer and improve backup, HA, and DR processes and procedures
Manage relationships with relevant service and equipment vendors
Evaluate and negotiate purchases/implementations of hardware, software, or service providers
Maintaining current maintenance contracts for all networking equipment
Document operations infrastructure and interface with customers as needed
Prioritize tasks and work independently yet interact well within a project-oriented team environment
Work under the Technical Operations Director for project direction and mentoring
Tier 2/3 on-call support with occasional night and weekend projects and maintenance

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to successfully interact with individuals at all levels of the business
Expert knowledge of current networking systems including routers, switches, firewalls, load-balancers, and SANs
Very strong knowledge of IP and dynamic routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, etc.
Linux Expert with experience with automated deployment tools such as chef/puppet
Virtualization experience with VMWare vCenter, ESXi, and 3rd party administration tools
Knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Citrix networking and load balancer products
Expert in Apache, MySQL, PHP administration
Ability to designing and document infrastructure implementations in a clear and precise manner
Visio diagramming & network documentation knowledge required
Strong experience and technical knowledge in operations, system and network security
Experience with DR planning and implementation
Experience with SAS-70/ISO2700 audits Excellent written and verbal skills

Education & Work Experience:
7+ years of experience architecting and administering SaaS environments
BS or MS in CS/related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with providing SaaS for financial institutions
Security and other technical certifications preferred
