The Sales Engineer / Cyber Analyst (SE) serves as the primary technical resource for the Federal sales force. Responsible for providing pre and post sales engineering support for the Federal Sales Team. This position will be held accountable for helping achieve specific direct sales and revenue goals as well as perform major business objectives designed to further company-wide business goals.

• Management of the technical relationship with customers, prospects and during the sales process:
o Drive the technical sales process both externally and internally.
o Qualify technical aspects of opportunities and serve as technical account manager.
o Lead the development of the technical strategy, including RFQ/RFI/RFP responses.
o Capture customer requirements, use cases and workflow scenarios.
o Develop positive customer relationships while deriving customer requirements.
o Keep technical account information up to date in CRM system.
o Attend all meetings regarding the customer.
• Conduct technical sales presentations and in depth product demonstrations:
o Lead technical discussions detailing product features and operation, support services and outlining the resulting value propositions to customers and partners.
o Objection handling.
• Design and recommend specific deployment solutions for customers and prospects.
• Develop the technical solution proposal and architecture and Statement of Work for customer and prospect deployments and evaluations.
• Installing and managing technical evaluations of large software applications including hands-on installation and troubleshooting and support to resolve product issues discovered during the evaluation or implementation process:
o Perform and manage product implementations at customer locations in close coordination with sales operations team.
o Provide customer consultation to ensure proper operational usage of deployed products.
o Perform technical product training for customers and partners.
o Schedule and conduct transition of customer to sales operations support team after completing project implementations.
• Performing real-time manual data analysis, specifically finding cyber attacks, non-standard protocol use, and other anomalous behavior, based on packet data or metadata.
• Writing automatic cyber analytic scripts using several different tools, including UNIX scripting, SQL or other query language (e.g., Splunk) as well as Development Kit analytics.
• Supporting customer demonstrations by simulating/generating attacks or anomalies and illustrating success or failure of detection.
• Keeping up to date on new attacks, intrusion methodologies, and their network signatures.
• Providing on-going training and mentoring to group peers for collaborative information sharing and refresh.
• Providing detailed and timely customer product feedback and feature requests to product management.
• Maintain knowledge of current market demands and competitive products.
• Meet company’s requirements for timecard, expense and status reporting.
• This position will require approximately 40%-60% travel.
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI (Poly preferred).
