What you’ll do:
Own the design, development and operation of Turiya’s web application(s)
Build a friendly and flexible app to keep up with the needs of a growing and diverse customer base
Deploy and maintain live applications (e.g., run on ec2)
Continual analysis, testing, and iteration in response to customer feedback/needs
Work as necessary to help make Turiya successful
What we want:
Expertise in LAMP-like development and with frameworks in ruby, python, and/or php
Experience with multiple deployed web applications
Solid grounding in the fundamentals of mvc-based software engineering
A commitment to test-driven development
Experience with agile/xp methodologies
Ability to run with ill-defined specs and react quickly to shifting needs
Previous startup experience (redundant with the previous bullet)
Background or prior experience in online gaming is a plus
