Tess Rogers, President
Tess has been in the recruiting business for over 15 years. In 1999, she opened her own practice specializing in placements within the high tech industry. She carefully selected top tier clients and as a result, built a solid reputation with companies and candidates as the “go to person” for connecting highly desirable positions with top tier people. Her experience spans Internet based companies, enterprise software venders as well as core backbone types such as the internetworking companies. She has recruited for all levels of positions within companies and understands intimately their individual contributions to the structure as a whole.
Because she has many years of experience in building organizations from the ground floor, she is acutely aware of the intangible skills such as ability to interact with others, accountability and true leadership. She has experience building teams, hiring executives and technologists for both nationwide and international positions. She understands quickly her clients’ industry, business model, cultural climate and their position in the market. Several of her clients have worked with her for over a decade. She consistently delivers high quality results in a short amount of time. She prides herself in her ability to work with the top 10% of candidates and companies. Most of her business is through word of mouth because she ultimately cares for the success of all parties involved.
Prior to opening her own practice 1999, Tess was the Lead Recruiter for Bay Networks, a two billion dollar company that ultimately was acquired by Nortel. She was considered one of the top recruiters for the company and she led recruiting efforts for several different departments. During her tenure at Bay Networks she earned the respect and admiration of top executives as well as her peers.
She graduated from Chico State with a B.A. in Organizational Communication, minor in Business Administration.
Dinna Voges – Senior Consulting Partner
Dinna has built and ran recruiting organizations since 1993. She has held Executive leadership roles while consistently working in the trenches finding the “best in class” talent for her clients. She has successfully staffed roles of varying levels within Silicon Valley, across the country and globally. Her clients include start-up and established companies alike within security, storage, networking, virtualization, Internet, Telecommunications and various other organizations. Her passion is partnering with her clients helping them build their field organizations.
Her knowledge of the market and her ability to quickly understand client’s needs, assess talent and deliver results has brought her many long term repeat clients.
She graduated from Sacramento State with a BS, Business Administration.
John Carter - Business Partner to TRA
John Carter has been a CEO, founder, and a widely respected advisor to technology firms over his thirty year career. As Principal of TCGen Inc., he has advised M&A strategies for many technology firms and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cirrus Logic (CRUS). John has raised private equity to successfully execute a rollup in the Consumer Electronics sector (Klipsch Group Inc.) and he has assumed roles of CEO and CTO (Livescribe, Klipsch). Prior to TCGen, he was the founder and a Principal of Boston-based Product Development Consulting, Inc., a leading organization advising Fortune 500 companies in the areas of research, development, and marketing. He has consulted to high technology companies, including clients such as Apple, Cisco, HP, IBM, and 3M. Before starting PDC, John was Chief Engineer of BOSE Corporation. He earned his SM in electrical engineering from MIT and a BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA.
